Itchy nipples driving me mad

I know Google says go to the doctor as it could be cancer but the thing is I’ve just had a load of blood tests (for IBD) which all came back totally fine (think they looked at everything, on the phone the doc said my liver was fine, my kidneys etc so hopefully looked at everything?). So I don’t feel I can bother the GP again so soon. Also have a weird mole I’m leaving for the same reason 😬

I’ve taken 2 Fluconazole - one last Saturday and one on Tuesday. And have been putting canesten cream on now and then for a couple of weeks. And my arms and legs and neck have been super itchy too lately. So maybe it’s just the heat??

Any ideas how I can get some relief/what it could be?

Are you breastfeeding? If not it's highly unlikely to be thrush. If you are, seek support from an LC who can work with your GP or HV to get you the long course of fluconozole you need (it's hard to get).

If not you really need to go back to your GP to discuss further - have you had bloods checked for hormone levels?

No not breastfeeding.

Ugh back to GP? Feel like such a pain and they’ll think I’m a hypochondriac!

I had this ! One side more than the other. I went to the docs who referred me for investigations. Everything was normal upon examination and they put it down to change in hormones. Six months on it has stopped

I’ve had this too. One nipple itchier than the other. I was referred to a dermatologist - had tests (mammogram, ultrasound pf nipple) all was fine. Prescribed a stronger steroid cream and it cleared up, but then came back after treatment. Mines been going on for well over a year now. Calms down then flares up again. I’m just putting it down to hormones and being menopausal now.
