I had blood tests last week (53 years old) I am about 2 kilos away from being inside the 'normal' weight on bmi so not hugely overweight although I could lose a few kilos and I will.
I already eat a pescatarian / meditarranean diet, lentils, chickpeas, fish, nuts, avocados, sweet potatoes, courgettes, leeks. I mix soya yogurt with natural kefir. I eat a lot of salads, saute veg in olive oil. Honestly, my diet is extremely healthy, and I thought I was going to be rewarded with good health.
I don't know if it matters though, if you don't smoke, and you're not significantly over weight. is the modern thinking that high cholesterol isn't necessarily bad?
