OVARIAN CYST

After a scan showed two ovarian cysts , they now want to do an x-ray in 3 weeks time

One cyst is 5cm

Worried that this is serious

Anyone else had this ?

I had an 18lb cyst removed over 20 years ago. It was open surgery so I have a large scar. I was in hospital for a week, initially had a catheter then caught a bladder infection before I was allowed to go home. I lost an ovary too. It's major surgery, so does take some time to recover from.

If it helps I had two dermoids (which have nerves in so cause a lot of pain!) and had them whipped out no issue, under keyhole. In and out in a few hours and back up and about quickly

I have a surgery coming up, to remove a dermoid cyst. How was your experience? I’m very nervous. I’m having laparoscopic surgery, for a 5,8cm benign cyst.

Hi there is anyone active on this thread... I had a private ultrasound and the lady said she can see 2 cysts on my left adnexa IAM thinking around my felopian tubes she was convinced they look fluid filled and jus said to have a gynae review .... I have pain left side pelvic sometimes.in middle and I have back ache ... Is this normal.. I also have some bloating ..... I'm worried sick

Sounds like pretty typical symptoms in my experience, fluid filled probably means they will resolve themselves. Try not to worry.

@teaandtoastwithmarmite hiya! I know this thread was a while ago…. But you might see this. Wondered what your outcome was? I have lots of cysts 2 of which are endometriomas only been found recently but my CA125 was raised at 74, did you have this test at all?? Thankyou x
