Does anyone know what could be causing my swollen feet.

After work (even though I sit down) after I have worn smart shoes all day they are exceptionally swollen.

But, I have noticed that they are even swollen when I have been at home in bare feet all day.

I am vastly overweight at present, and, I've put some more weight on due to medication I am on at min. Doctor is not concerned at weight gain at present as she wants to get my depression under control. BUT, she is going to have a natter in 5 weeks with a view to changing to a new anti depressant.

i think you need to keep your feet elevated, sitting down for long periods can make fluid/ blood pool in the feet, especially if you cross your legs at the ankle, IIRC. think you need to put your feet and legs up , try propping up the matress at night, so your legs are elevated whilst you sleep.

I think it is to do with circulation - try walking around every half hour or so - that should help move the fluid away from your feet.

Also (oddly) try drinking more - it can be related to dehydration I think.

It's often due to fluid retention, there are pills you
can buy for it, might be worth a try.
Holland and Barrett is probably the best place.
