Anyone good with blood test results?

If a blood test showed the following, should it trigger further investigation?

Red blood cell count very slightly below typical (4.2)
Haematocrit very slightly below typical (0.36)
Mean corpusc Hb conc (MCHC) slightly above typical (360)
Platelets slightly above typical (420)

So nothing very out of the ordinary, but several things on the edge of normal?

This is in a 60 year old man who's not been feeling great.

TIA

If he’s not feeling great then that would be the bigger driver to having some further done. Has he already been diagnosed with anything underlying that could impact that? auto immune disease etc?

Thanks @Wildspace . No, nothing diagnosed, but has had various, non-specific symptoms for 18 months or so. Hard to know which directions to push in, and wondered whether the doctor's conclusion that the blood tests look "broadly normal" (so no further action) was reasonable....
Thanks again.

It might be hard to pin down but do keep pushing if he’s had symptoms for that long. And definitely keep a symptom diary.
