Gum grafts on the NHS

Hi all

Just wondering if anyone has any experience of the above? I’m a bit of an over-brusher and one of my teeth has a badly receded gum. Has anyone had a gingival (or other) graft on the NHS? If so, was it hard to get? It’s a healthy tooth with no filling, a molar and quite sensitive so I’m hoping that might convince them to act on it. Can’t really afford to go private.

I’ve already started using the softest toothbrush I can find, but the tooth is really uncomfortable at times. Not too worried about a gory procedure as I’ve had dental surgery before to remove impacted teeth. I just want to save my tooth.

Many thanks
