I haven't officially been diagnosed but almost 100% sure I have this. I have been reading lots of posts about it and things online and want to give bladder training a go.
There's two ways that I've seen people mention it. One is to only go to the toilet at set intervals, and the other is just drink lots of water to expand your bladder and then when it feels urgent hold it 5 mins, then 10 mins etc.
I have been doing the interval way so far, I only started doing it this week but I've given myself 2 hour intervals. By that point I can't hold it anymore, I start needing it after about 50/60 mins but have been holding it for an extra hour. It's kind of made me feel better because I now know that even if I have the feeling to go, I CAN hold it for the two hours (unless I've drank more water). I would like to get to three hours, that's my goal so wondering if I should progress to this slowly or whether it's actually better to do it the other way with drinking lots of water?
Only problem with this is, when I drink more water I need the toilet every 15 mins. Like URGENTLY to the point where I have to run to the toilet. So I couldn't do this every day, I could only do it on days where I'm in all day and have no plans. So then in that case would it even work?
Id love to hear whether this has worked for other people?
