Yes!!

Its the best thing, especially if your lo gets the same thing.

WelliesAndPyjamas · 18/02/2008 23:25

yes

berolina · 18/02/2008 23:26

yes you can and you should. If it is an infection, your milk will pass on protective antibodies.

Keep as hydrated as you can.

Thanks, I was worried I might pass it on to him he's only turned 15 weeks!

keep breastfeeding - and if you're using oral contraception - remember this kind of bug can interfere with it working so you may need to resort to alternative means - unless you want another lo asap - don't mean to sound bossy and patronising - just thought it was worth a mention

thanks northernlurker, there's no chance of anything happening with hubby, I have a knackered pelvis and sacrem joint, he's not coming (oh you take that both ways) in an inch of me

Grin
NorthernLurker · 18/02/2008 23:32

not at your injuries obviously - are you getting physio?

DettaJnr · 19/02/2008 10:50

I would make sure that you keep eating also. My milk dried up when this happened to me because I couldn't eat.

Had a rough night, upchucking and the trots (where does it all come from?!) yes I am back at physio, waiting to get epidural pain relief and facet joint injection, I am only 33 feel like an old woman.
Just had some plain bread and drinking plenty, don't feel I can keep anything else down, I might have some vegetable rice at lunch and see how I go with that. Thanks everybody, sure I will be right as rain by tomorrow.
