Nasally-voice months after covid

I had Covid about 4-5 months ago, and since then I sound like I have a cold. My breathing is clear, I can breathe through my nose. I have no pain. I was at the doctor a month or so ago and she says she could only see mild inflammation. Says to take anti-histamines for a while and see if it made any difference. She said next step would be a course of steroids for a no. of months. I also tried sinus rinses.

I suppose I’m wondering if anyone else had/has this and what might work. Everytime I meet anyone they ask me if I have a cold. I do occasionally have some congestion & headaches but I would always have that, but the nasally-voice is new. thanks!
