itchy rash all over me, help it's driving me crazy!!

started last night about 10pm and am still itchy, the rash looks like nettle rash, have taken anti-histamines but they don't seem to have done much. nhs dircet seem to think it's an allergic reaction, but i have no idea what to, didn't eat anything unusul last night

it's driving me bonkers it's soooooo itchy!

anyone else had this - what was it??

washing powder allergy?

I would keep taking the anti-histamines and then call your GP tomorrow

haven't changed the washing powder - sainsbury's non bio been using it for about 6 months. can allergies just suddenly develop to things that you've never been allergic to before? am struggling to think of anything new/unusual i've eaten or done.

perhaps - i have become allergic to beer recently

i have really sensitive skin and even changing shower gel or changing body lotions can make me rashy

i also get rashes with certain painkillers and anti bitoics - have you take any pills or anything??

It is called hives and I used to get it.

dont scratch it as it will get worse.

Extremes of hot and cold can make it worse.

Go and have a warm bath and it should die down.

Also aspirin triggers it for me too.

oh lord don't say that ruby - i had a beer last night

it is very hard not to scratch tho....

.....or you could just ignore me!
