So now I have a red rash covering my body

DS1 has a red blotchy one on his face. i was in teh shower and started itching. My body, from under the boobs down to the top of my legs, all around my back and down both arms is covered in a red blotchy rash. And, it is really itchy. It looks like the same one DS1 has on his face. I have checked him and he doesn't have it anywhere else.

Could be an allergy? Sounds unlikely though if ou both have it.

The only red blotchy rash I had that was really itchy was cellulitis. It also felt as if my skin was hot.

Should say though I am sure there are 101 causes of a blotchy red rash...

No help with the rash though sorry, hope you can get to the bottom of it.

Well I have got up this morning looking like I have been dipped in red paint. The only part of my body not affected is my face. My arms from shoulders to wrists are scarlet, like I have sun burn, on the hands, tops of legs and chest are a lighter rash, still red but not all covering. The shins and back and tummy are also scarlet, again like I havee bad sunburn. There is no itch, although the bits that are scarlet feel very hot.
I am also aching all over, but not sure if this connected tot eh rash, or if this is falre up of Fibromyalgia.

DS1 still has the rash on his face,its not got bigger or appeared anywhere else.

We both got antihistamines from pharmacy yesterday as doc was closed, but its not made a blind bit of differnce
