She started vomiting last night at about 11.00pm, and was sick all night - just bile in the end. Keep giving her water but it just comes back up. This morning she seemed much better so she ate a yogurt and had some apple juice. At 1pm threw the lot back up. She's just gone to bed but I'm worried she will dehydrate at this rate. Any ideas on what I should do? She's never really been ill before, and I feel like I don't know what I'm doing.

Just keep offering lots of sips of clear fluids (water, squash, rehydrating sachets or flat lemonade) Even if they come straight up, some will be absorbed and keep her hydrated

Let her eat if she wants to but maybe stick to non dairy and bland foods (crackers/toast etc)

Ice lollies/ice pops/ice cubes are good as they melt slowly so not hitting the tummy too fast

If you are really worried call NHS direct or GP

Hope she feels better soon

Thank you so much for replying. She is just drinking some very weak squash (she's just got up and asked for a drink straight away).

I appreciate your help.
