Ok apologies for being graphic but can’t find any info on this & my GP didn’t volunteer anything which wasn’t v reassuring. I asked if it could be a fistula or hernia & she said no.
I’m on the 2 week pathway however, & FIT test came back borderline positive. I’m not that alarmed by that as blood in your poo doesn’t always mean the worst (although important is checked out clearly).
Has anyone else had this?? It feels like a firm hard ridge & extends up the back wall of my back passage. It’s quite a large area.
Not internal hemorrhoid & not a bowel prolapse. Is narrowing the canal however & making it harder to go. Not had children so not related to childbirth or anything.
My appointment’s a month away & not knowing is driving me mad.
Obvs could be a tumour or a growth of some kind. She said cancer presents differently but obvs can’t rule out till am seen properly.
Any advice appreciated.
