I am not looking for a diagnosis with this by the way.

I had a rash on my neck since 2020. I meant to go to the GP about it but I never got a chance but I think I will make an appointment. It goes up and down in various intensity.

I woke this morning and the rash is more pronounced. Its also somewhat tender. Its not sore. There's a weird tender feeling to it.

I noticed maybe there might be a butterfly shape and I outlined it in my image.
Would this be a butterfly rash associated with lupus.

I was very stressed over the past number of weeks.

Have you dabbed any perfume on your neck?

No perfume on my neck. I only wear perfume on my clothes.

I thought maybe it was an allergy to wool but I was avoiding wool for a long time but this increased intensity overnight.

Take some Piriton and use some hydrocortisone cream and see if that helps.

No. Butterfly rash is nose and cheeks.

Lupus butterfly rash is only called that because it makes that shape because it appears on the nose and cheeks.
