how abaout having it next to the toothbrush and doing it then. youre allowed four hours leeway, right? does your routine vary more than that?

i am pretty sure its 4 hours for the mini pill and about 12 hours for the combined...

moljam · 13/02/2008 23:44

i'll check instructions.i thought it would be hour or 2.which then i probably wouldnt always do it on time.

with most mini-pills you have a 3 hour window to take it but some mini-pills (like cerazette) have a 12 hour window just like the combined pill. I leave mine out on the chest of drawers beside my bed and take it in the morning around 7.30am (the kids make sure I am up in time for it!!). If I forget it in the morning I then have plenty of time to remember about it whereas if you miss it at night you would probably be asleep when your time ran out.

MascaraOHara · 14/02/2008 12:38

I keep mine in my make up bag - which is on top of loo so can not not be part of my routine iyswim

scottishmummy · 14/02/2008 12:43

they sit in bathroom shelf. see them 1st thing when i get up & go brush teeth

could you put a post it note on mirror!
take one with 12hour window (so better protection if you forget)
stick to rigid time for taking it - soon become habit forming

SoupDragon · 14/02/2008 12:57

I got the MW to take a picture of my post birth stitches and have got it stuck to the bathroom mirror.

theheadgirl · 14/02/2008 13:36

Excellent SD! When guests use the bathroom at your house I'll bet they also see it as a reminder to take their own pills!!

moljam · 14/02/2008 21:21

SoupDragon fab idea!

i checked its 12 hours so i'll take when making childrens breakfast and if i forget theyll be in kitchen near kettle which i visit hundreds of times a day! lol.

thankyou everyone.
