I've had a large lipoma ( approx 3 x 3 inches ) on my back for years (about 22 yrs). Biopsied about 8 years ago as precaution but it is considered cosmetic so not removed. It's close to my spine and the edge of it touches/covers top of spine. I've had some top arm/shoulder dull pain for a while and wondered if the lipoma could possibly be pushing on something to affect top of arm/ shoulder. I also get quite a bit of upper back pain but I do have quite a bad posture so usually put it down to that. It kind of runs down the inside of top of arm and on top.
I'm just wondering whether I should mention it to GP or if it sounds far fetched.
