Issues always on right side of body?

Hi, I am a bit of a hypochondriac at the best of times - but getting a bit paranoid about how everything seems to only affect the right side of my body and don’t know if it is a coincidence, something to do with how I sleep or means something else?

For example:

  • I quite often get allergy symptoms of feeling need to sneeze/itchy eye but only on right side of nose and right eye
  • I have what I think is rosacea that’s appeared on my face and won’t go away only on right side
  • I sometimes get tinnitus periodically on right ear
  • i have eczema on my hands but much worse on right hand
  • i have arthritis in my right toe

Coincidence or does it mean something?

Following, as I also have rosacea type thing on right side only (unusual) and worse eczema on right hand. Oh, and nerve pain from right knee to top of foot. I only noticed the right sidedness of these things recently and haven't mentioned to a doctor yet, but plan to next time I go!

Do you sleep on your right?

I sleep on my left and get contact dermatitis on my left when I sleep away from home, unless I use my own bedding.

That’s weird isn’t it?! I think I’m going to go to doctor about the rosacea as haven’t yet and might just slip it into conversation then and see if they don’t just completely dismiss it!

Omg it's me too, except left hand side. How bizarre.

Feed back if you get anywhere! I have autoimmune diseases so usually associate weird stuff with those.... So I'm not sure my rosacea is really that any more, especially now it's one sided. It did use to be both sides and look more typical

Mine is just one side and is really spotty? So pretty sure it is rosacea as been using skin and me and they said it is, but it’s not going away particularly…

Would love to know the answer to this as for me it's always left side. I have a problem with the discs in my neck (bilateral) but only feel pain on the left. Any random pains are always left. Problem with left ear pain and now got an issue with twitching blurry left eye. Strange pain in my left ankle etc. Yet the right side is fine

Quite a few of the symptoms you mentioned are associated with inflammation. Could it be blockage in your lymph system (drainage) that causes build up on one side?

SleekMamma · 29/03/2023 21:37

You could try some Bowen technique massages. Might unblock whatever is going on
