I've done it lots on Microgynon too - no problems at all.

A friend who tried this ended up with a 3 week period - wrecked her holiday. I don't know which pill it was, and whether it's the pill or the body that makes the difference IYSWIM.

yes you can

I have done it a few times with this pill as well. Funnily enough the first time when I went to Jamaica on honeymoon. GP says as long as its not done all the time its not harmful and I had no side effects.

I've done it several times. But when I tried to run 3 packs together I got a period anyway.

It was a very handy thing to be able to do. And the FP doc said it was ok, but I'd run out quicker!

Absolutely.

I saw a program about the guy who invented the pill and it was something along the lines of he was trying to not offend the Catholic Church too much by making the cycle a woman had with the pill look like a regular cycle, but in fact there was no clinical reason why a woman on the pill has to have a period every month.

Studies have shown that women in primitive and earlier cultures wouldn't have had half as many periods as we do these days due to either being pregnant or breastfeeding far more often than we do and that the number of periods a woman has these days may be linked to some illnesses/diseases ... Sorry to the Pedants, but I can't reference exactly where I heard/read all this
