ds2 is 10 mths, apparently his testicles retract too high inot his body, a quick stitch will fix it say the docs? Is it very early to be doing this?

Isn't retraction normal, or maybe he retracts them too high?
Am worried hate the thought of my baby being sewn up down there.

ds had his testicle lowered at 16 months, was supposed to be 11 months but he was ill.

The sooner the better apparently - the longer it is left the more likely the testicle is to cook, which can lead to infertility and a greater risk of testicular cancer. They need to dangle to be properly cooled.

The anticipation was the worst, and when he slumped in my arms as he went under. He was crabby for 12 hours after the op. and then was back to normal.
