Something weird is going on in my skull. A couple of weeks ago I noticed a dull, painless pulse in my upper right gum. The last time I had this symptom (a couple of years ago) it was checked by GP and was actually a bacterial ear infection which antibiotics cleared up. Sure enough, a couple of days after this tooth pulse began, I got the familiar watery feeling in my left ear and a feeling of fullness behind the ear. Trotted off to the GP fully expecting an ear infection again and they said my ears look absolutely fine and suggested my Eustachian tube/s are blocked
Fast forward 2 weeks, my ear feels about the same and my gum still feels weird - not painful, but tingly/pulsating. Not all the time but most of the time. No pain to eat or chew, I've tapped every tooth and no pain, have flossed like a mad woman in between each and every tooth and got right under the gum line and no change. Shone a torch around my teeth and I can't see any bumps, redness, or swelling.
The simplest answer is to book in with the dentist (had a check up 2 months ago) but I'm terrified so asking here first
