Have had a rash in my elbow for approximately 6 months now. It comes and goes and during a flare it can be extremely itchy at times. Been to pharmacist who prescribed timodine which didn't do much, pharmacist wasn't really sure what it was either. DH has psoriasis and I've been using a spray of his which helps, but the spray can be used for both eczema and psoriasis so doesn't help narrow it down. I do feel there's definitely a correlation with stress and the rash. GP is incredibly difficult to get a hold of and as it's nothing more than very itchy/unsightly I'd rather not bother them.

I used to get a rash like that when I worked in a bar and had my elbows up on a damp bar most of the time.

It doesn't look particularly like eczema or psoriasis. Have you tried hydrocortisone on it?

@cocksstrideintheevening I think the spray I use is a steroid spray (Enstilar) and it does seem to help. It's quite potent though so I use it sparingly. That's interesting you had a similar rash. My arms wouldn't be exposed to moisture regularly though. I'm not overly concerned by the rash as it's not massively troublesome thankfully, just curious to what it might be

If it’s steroids then don’t use it without a diagnosis. Maybe mention it to pharmacist?
