Any of thsoe things although only one each paracetamol and/or ibruprofen based.

Lizzer · 11/02/2008 16:56

Anyone of those is fine, amoxicillin is an anti biotic so won't affect any painkiller you give her or vice versa. Bless her, hope she feels better soon

Great minds (and name!)

ScoobyDYSONDoo · 11/02/2008 16:59

Ah thank you both, i think tonight i will either try the Medised (she is a terrible sleeper) or the Ibrufen as the doctor said this is good for bad ears.

hopefully we will have a better night not like the last 3

you can give both medised and ibuprofen if she seems to need it

LIZS · 11/02/2008 17:03

ibruprofen is also an antinflammatory - we've headed off more than one ear infection without ab's by using it.

ScoobyDYSONDoo · 11/02/2008 17:10

Oh so i can use both then? will do that if needs be, she is in a hell of alot of pain at night with her left ear, she will have had 1 spoon of the amox this afternoon & will have one tonight.

she wakes around 1.30pm screaming then all through the night so i will try the Ibrufen & medised at some point if i have too, hopefully the ab will have kicked in more tomorrow.

thanks for advice.
