Not sure if anyone will be able to help as I think this is quite rare. But I have some issues with my vision. Earlier in the week the eye hospital told me I had inflammation in my vessels on my retina and a white dot syndrome. They said there are a number of causes and currently investigating these. I've had to have tonnes of blood tests for infections and autoimmune diseases and have to have an orange dye test in a few weeks.
Has anyone been diagnosed with a white dot syndrome? What ended up being the cause? What treatment did you need? And what was the long term prognosis?
I have actually had a similar thing happen a few years ago, but by the time I was seen in hospital my symptoms had gone so I'm wondering if whatever had flared up was no longer visible on the scans. Assuming as this has happened before it is less likely an infection
Thanks in advance!
