So had Covid around 10th Feb, terrible hacking cough and general muscle aches. Week before this I was ok but for the couple of weeks prior I had a really bad chesty cough, worst that I have ever had.
Towards end of covid I started getting a bad pain under my right breast and now the pain is under breast and radiating out towards my back. Every time I move I get shooting pains and sometimes it feels like its moving funny (sort of pops out towards the back and I have to push it back again.
I managed to get a telephone Drs appointment last week. I explained that I am taking 60mg Codeine, 800 Ibuprofen 4 times a day. They suggested taking paracetamol as well and see how it goes. I am now taking 1000mg of paracetamol on top of the other tablets and the pain just seems to be getting worse not better.
I am in agony by the end of each day, my side feels so swollen on the evening. I have to take my bra off to drive home and then even lifting a pint glass feels like it is pulling. I spend most night dreading going to bed because however I am lying hurts.
I get there is nothing that they can do and they did say that if I have fractured rib or torn muscle it is the same treatment BUT is there anyone who has had any experience and can recommend anything else I can try?
