LO just 4 months old. Has been chewing hands and anything she can find for weeks, and i found a tiny bottom tooth cut through today. Tried to feed her usual bottle tonight at 630 but she only took 3 ounces. She usually has 9! Plan to dreamfeed at 1030, which i don't normally need to do. But is this usual for a teething baby? Must admit i was a bit in denial about the whole teething thing and thought it was way too early. Hence have not read up on it.

My ds got his bottom two teeth within a few days of each other when he was four months old so it might be an idea to check she isnt gettin the other through aswell. Im not sure if its normall or just my ds as all off his have come through practically in pairs. He didnt want as much milk, i wouldnt have thought it would be anything for you to worry about, All you can do is offer your dd milk. Dont know if your planning on using a teething gel but if you are ambisol do 1 thats effective and works very quickly. HTH

Thanks! Have used a gel - can't remember name - and gave her a dose of calpol cos she was a bit distressed tonight. Don't want to upset her sleeping pattern - she's so good at night! - and have heard that this can be a prob when it settles down.
