She doesn't have diahorrea, just cannot keep anything down. I have tried to keep her hydrated, just water, but she is throwing that up too. I am v worried now. Should I take her to the docs? Anyone have the NHS direct number?

If she's not keeping water down then I would say that she needs to be seen by a doctor, Gingerbells. Let us know how you get on! {{{{hugs}}}}}}

thanks LMB and Miaou.
NHS told me to give her diorlyte to keep her hydrated and get her to docs asap.
rang docs- emergency surgery only on a Monday - I am NOT waiting for 3 hours in a waiting room with a little girl who is throwing her guts up!!

She slept for 3.5 hrs this afternoon, and has eaten a little plain rice at tea time.
Will ring doc tomorrow morning

Now I have this sickness bug too. Won't go into any graphic details, suffice to say that I feel like I have been on a detox diet for the last 24 hours.

DD is much better, but still hasn't got her appetite back.

Sorry to hear this Gingerbells, but glad dd is on the mend. Is there anyone else left to catch it?

KristmasBear · 08/12/2004 12:22

My DD, DS and DH have all had a violent sickness bug in the last week. I am hoping it doesn't get to me - us mums haven't got time for this have we? I am trying not to breathe near them and am scrubbing my hands with anti-bac soap!!

Hope you all feel better soon.

GingerBells · 08/12/2004 12:38

Thank you.
DH is keeping a safe distance, but with his luck he will get it just before Christmas!
