Had a check up last week and dentist found a shadow as title, a bottom premolar (I think). He said he needs to replace the filling and give it a good clean, but a quick Google suggests likely to need root canal? I'm having no issues with said tooth, though of course I understand the idea of preventative dentistry. I just have a concern that in messing with a tooth currently causing no issues I will open a can of worms so to speak? Any advice from a professional much appreciated 😁
