DS with Norovirus 8 Months Any Advice?

Hi I'm a new parent so forgive my naivety.

We've all had it in the house and it was inevitable that our 8 month would get it, despite trying to be as hygienic as possible.

So he projectile vomited about 1hr ago whilst having is last solid feed for the day. And since then he has vomited about 3 more times (not a lot of vomit though, in comparison to the first).

What's the best treatment/remedy for this? I've heard 10ml water in a syringe evey 10 mins for an hour.

What are the signs of dehydration and what to look out for? Less than 2 wet nappies a day?

We will take him to the GP tomorrow to be sure. But I just wanted to ask for advice to see if any other mums had been through this with a LO.

Also any practical advice like: Should we stop solid food? Should we stop formula and just give water? Sould we cosleep?...

Thank you in advance.

Don't take him to the go with noro.

Monitor him, see how he goes. Offer milk, it'll likely come back up. They still have a soft spot at that age so monitor that and check urine output. If it drops call for advice.

Will he sick an ice pop, that can be a good way to get fluid in.

You don't need to go to the doc. And I would avoid with noro. Just monitor, offer water and milk. Baby may be off thier food for a couple of days.
