So DH, now 57, active, fit, gets this virus....syptoms are usually the same each episode, a bit of fatigue, minor sore throat, minor burning pain in groin glands....it can last for a few days to maybe 5 and then just goes..can have it several times each year.....3 lots of blood tests and physical exams with the GP find nothing wrong and all results are good....have asked for a scan on gland area but GP says we have to pay as nothing is showing in the routine tests and therefore it's nothing serious....GP has no idea what it is and is thorough etc...being told not to worry and to rest until it has gone is the advice of the GP.
