TheHonEnid · 06/02/2008 09:36

the ones on here are good if you are a beginner

stuffitall · 06/02/2008 09:37

I can't but have just come back from first 5k and WWWOOOWWWEEE! it makes you feel good
hope he goes for it

Cappuccino · 06/02/2008 09:39

MissCreant it is not for me it is for dh

I can barely walk for 20 mins at the moment (though that is an improvement on a couple of months ago when I couldn't get to the end of the road)

I do miss running but I'm just not well enough

how is your dd with her bedtime antics?

MissCreant · 06/02/2008 09:44

oh yes, sorry, cappucino.

Cappuccino · 06/02/2008 14:01

oh Enid your solution WORKED

she is in bed at 8pm with her 'relaxing lady' mp3 playing

she patiently awaits me for 'question time' but more often than not she forgets all the nonsense questions such as 'what time is it' and 'what did you have for lunch' and 'can we go to Ellie's next year' and 'for my 8th birthday party (in Oct ) can I'

and when I ask her for any questions she says 'I love you' instead and I get a hug

which is far preferable to standing on the landing hissing 'what on earth is it now?'
