When i started breastfeeding ds2 (7-8mths ago) i noticed that the milk from my left breast was tinged with blood (when ds2 possetted you could see flecks) and the midwife said this happened sometimes.
i ended up giving up breastfeeding after a month and since then have sometimes felt a strange tingly discomfort behind my left nipple. the doctor gave me an examination ages ago and said that it may just be that the milk sacs were still larger than normal and possibly putting pressure thus causing the discomfort.
i am now wondering if this is normal. has anyone else felt this?
