Post traumatic stress syndrome? You are triggered by something and your body has the same reaction.

You might find it helpful to access some counselling
I’ll try to post some free information - varies depending on where you are in the UK

Or if you are Birmingham try this (other areas will have similar)
As a pp said, your body and mind are both being triggered by this memory/trauma.
it can be sorted , definitely

I know exactly how you feel. I was in a relationship with a narcissist and whenever we had a difficult conversation/confrontation it led to me shaking uncontrollably. I had never experienced this before, I'm ordinarily a confident, self assured person. Anyway that relationship is long over and I'm now with an absolutely lovely man. We were having a difficult conversation the other day about where we might live when we move in together and my legs started shaking. It was the first time that had happened since the ex. I couldn't understand why but having read your post it must be the same kind of thing. I don't know what the answer is, I just tried to tell myself that I was completely safe and that there was nothing wrong, and I passed it off to him that I was cold.
