Experiences with Boots Online Doctor?

I can’t get an appointment with my GP until mid February so considering using Boots Online Dr, has anyone ever used their services?

I’m struggling with my mental health just now. I’m so completely overwhelmed by life and have been for a while so feel like it’s time to talk to someone.. but a bit worried they won’t be able to do anything because a lot of it is circumstantial.

I have, but it was for an acne flare up so really quite different circumstances. I filled out an online form, stated which medication I wanted (had been prescribed it previously but like you would have waited forever for an appointment with my GP) and also had to upload photos. I needed to upload a photo of my passport too I think. The request was approved and I had the prescription the next day at my local store. They checked in on me after a few weeks to see how I was getting on.

I found it convenient but expensive. I think it worked well for me mainly because I knew exactly which medication would be successful. I didn’t talk to a doctor at any point, so I am not sure if that would be useful for MH issues?

I had a consultation with a GP via Superdrug as it was the cheapest. I knew I wanted antibiotics for a skin infection that had flared up again and couldn’t face waiting for a GP appointment. He was great and I’d really recommend it.
