Colposcopy for HPV virus. Should I be concerned.

I am a bit confused about a test I just had.
I have had HPV virus for a while apparently but no abnormal smears.
Because of the HPV I was sent for a colposcopy today but it was a bit odd. The consultant said there was nothing to worry about as there were no abnormal cells that he could see but he also said that my cervix was unusually small and he couldn't see inside to thoroughly check.
(This explains why both my kids had to be delivered by C section I suppose)
What I'm worried about is - how does he know there are no abnormal.cells if he didn't actually check inside my cervix? I feel fobbed off but Am I worrying about nothing?

Heyy @Paternosta I’ve just had a ltr too saying I am HPV positive with borderline changes so I’ve booked a private colposcopy as I am in the middle of ivf and need it sorted asap and the NHS said its a 3 months wait for an appointment date from the day of referral.
