Does my three year old have a water infection

Hi everyone last week my little girl sat on the toilet and screamed she needed a wee after just going for a wee. She was hysterical and wouldn’t let us move her from the toilet. Her auntie came round to play and she immediately got up of the toilet after me trying to get her off for over half an hour..
She’s been for a couple of wees today and not mentioned anything

tonight she has done exactly the same as the other day . Screaming when we try and take her off the potty saying she needs a wee. She is nearly three. Completely dry in the day just soils in her nappy.

she’s getting so upset saying she needs a wee and won’t let us move her from the potty.

could this be a water infection?

Take her to the gp and find out for goodness sake.

A dip test and a sample could tell easily .

My dd used to get water infections and they can cause kidney issues so just go and find out because without being a physician with a sample and a dip test - no one knows !

@stillvicarinatutu i will be taking her in the morning , I was just asking I’m for advice if anyone’s children had anything similar as my doctors are very reluctant to see patients .

Sorry my reply sounded hostile - it wasn't meant to

I'd get a sample and drop it in - they can dip test and send it in for culture .

Yeah my dd went through a spate of water infections at about 3 .
It's worth checking out

@stillvicarinatutu no worries. She’s so tired so I’ve managed to get her to sleep. She fell asleep on the potty. We are going to the walk in center in the morning first thing so I know she will be seen , as my doctors only doing telephone consultations .
