What are those shoes called that help your posture?

They have a curved sole which improves your posture apparently and are often prescribed for people with back problems?

And where can i get them from?

You can get them in Dept stores like John Lewis I think, and online

The biggest problem looks to be that its best to have a fitting for them - unless you're near certain (southern) locations its a bit difficult...

weirdly i was just looking on the website that hanaflower linked and put my postcode in, and aparently the gym next door (!) to where i work has them! I'm going to take a look tomorrow, see if they do have some in my size

Try Earth Shoes too. Not quite as extreme as MBTs and you can get some really funky boots!
