I'm not having a good 6 months! was diagnosed with hypothyroidism a few months ago and now it turns out I've got colitis

Had a flexible sig thingy today (great fun and i've been prescribed asacol and prednisolone, have to go for a colonoscopy next week.

Any experience, tips etc? Am a bit overwhelmed at the moment...

Goodluck with this..!

(I used to have it, quite badly in bouts. Best tip I can think of is to not be hard on yourself and take it as easy as you can!!)

Hi, I know this is an old thread, but it struck a cord with me as I'm I'm almost the same situation, I think. I was diagnosed with an under active thyroid about 6 months ago and now I've definitely got some kind of inflammatory bowel problem, although haven't quite got to the dr about it yet, will go next week, but had thought the symptoms were ibs until recently.

How are you now, have things settled down? I don't know about you but until this ipyear I didn't have any health problems, now I feel sick of having different symptoms and constantly being not quite right :(
