i have had to collect dd from school today - what a state she was in. she was BURSTING to go for a weewee but refused as her flower was sore

now often in the past she has had a red flower and its because she doesnt wipe properly after a weewee - is always in too much of a rush

but this time her flower isnt red like it has been on these previous occasions

she has no other symptoms

just llooking to see others experiences

tia

Yes, my dd has had 2. First time, I didn't realise what was wrong at first (she has problems with constipation anyway, so sore bottoms were usually connected to that). I only really twigged because (warning, may be TMI)it smelled awful when she went for a wee. Next time, she complained of it being sore when she went for a wee and I took her to the GP straight away.
My dd was a bit off colour and generally unwell with it. It was also cloudy when she went to the toilet, and she said her wee felt hot.
Cranberry juice is supposed to be good for UTIs - my dd drinks it mixed with orange or apple juice, as it's a bit too sour for her on its own.
