horrible cough...does benylin work for little ones?

ds is really struggling with nasty nasty cough. does anyone know is there a benylin for 13 month old? does it work? any reason why i shouldn't give it a try. seen the doc and they are not concerned. homeopath has given him some stuff starting today so will see how that goes, but in the meantime, i really want him to be able to get a good night's sleep, he does sleep through his coughing fits (i can't understand how, but bless him for it) but his eyes look punched out and i really think a night without so much coughing might help him mend...

any advice gratefully received, i know it's only a minor thing but....

Tixylix cough and cold is good. Does he have a runny nose too?

yes, there is a children's Benylin. We use it. Very effective. I also drop a few drops of children's Olbas oil on a tissue at night. hth

yes, the benylin night one is very good, ds2 has had horrid cough etc past week but benylin has helped him to sleep, can use it over age of 1 year so you should be ok.

We use Karvol on a muslin or in hot water at night - probably very similar to the Olbas oil. Boosting Vit C intake should also help.
