How long did it take you to get over the flu?

Me and my boy (1 years old) have had the flu now since Tuesday evening. We seem to be past the worst but I am so so so tired. Not sure if it's because of the lack of sleep or because of the flu itself (probably both). Can barely keep my eyes open and have zero energy.
How long did it take you to feel fully better again after the flu?

I'm 15 days in & still not recovered. There's a lot of slow flu around I'm hearing.

A couple of weeks to be totally well. Try and rest/sleep as much as possible, the worst thing is to do too much too soon.

Great thread for me as myself and by baby also started with symptoms on Tuesday! I really feel your pain, it is so so rotten. Baby seems slightly better today, still poorly but is edging back to normal wake windows (has been sleeping like mad through the day). I feel terrible.

Oh bless you. It's awful isn't it. My baby has been so poorly, he had a temp of over 39 for about 4/5 days! He's slept sooo much. Slept over 5 hours worth of naps yesterday too. He was waking every 10 mins to begin with though so uncomfortable when we first come down with it. He's still not right, it's really knocked him around. Sending strength 💕. Hope you've got help on hand xx
