Pain pelvic area when passing urine?

Hi for the past few days I have noticed a sharp shooting pain in my pelvic area, it'll last a few seconds and go. It's just above my pubic area but slightly to the right (my right).
Since yesterday this pain comes on the whole time I'm passing urine and then stops once I've stopped passing urine? My first thought was UTI but I've never had symptoms like this? When I've had UTIs in the past it's been intense and really painful stinging/burning sensation along the urethra.

Does anyone have any idea what this could be? Many thanks

Maybe infection in a slightly different part of the urinary tract than what you have experienced previously? Like maybe in the bladder instead of the urethra?

If you call 111 they’ll likely be able to book you in to an out of hours service.

Hope you feel better soon!

I did a urine dip at GP surgery and it was completely negative, no leucocytes or protein. Still getting pain when passing urine, any ideas ?
