Feel like I'm bothering my dentist

I hadn't been to the dentist in some time and finally plucked up the courage to go...

I needed fillings done, big fillings which the dentist advised would possibly need to be root canal down the line...

so a few of my teeth have been bothering me after I got these big fillings and I called the dentist again for an appointment to check them over...one tooth eventually got removed (it was either that or root canal) but it was right at the back of my mouth and I just wanted out of pain

I'm also feeling another 2 of my teeth bothering me which if I can remember correctly the dentist advised on my first visit that these teeth would possibly be root canal due to the big fillings

Now I'm worried to call them again as I feel like they may think I haven't gave my teeth enough time to settle from the fillings (4 weeks) but i really do just feel like there is something more than that going on

It's really tricky to know what is going on without him taking a look. I've had a lot of dental work over the years including extractions and root canals. Don't feel as though you are bothering the dentist. It's his job, he probably appreciates the business.
I had a filling that took about a year to feel right, it didn't help that I kept playing with it with my tongue all day every day. Now it feels great. If you are worried by all means go back, it's his job after all.

Thank you. I have a filling and I play with it with my tongue too. I also get toothache in that same tooth if I eat anything sweet. Its such a pain, I feel like they're never going to be right.

I honestly thought it wasn't going to make it and every check up she looked at it an x-rayed it and it was all good. Just try not to worry too much. I know it's hard , but try not to play with it. It's sort of funny as I have health anxiety. I played with that tooth and worried for ages then I started worrying about another part of my body and now that I haven't been thinking about it my tooth is perfectly fine. 😄
