I’ve been suffering with chest pain since April. I was sent for an x ray in July and the pain is still ongoing. The pain is like a sharp sudden pain all across the centre of the chest and through my back too in the same place. Ever so slightly to the left but centre if that makes sense. This is what the x ray said - Loss of normal cervical lordosis, suggestive of paraspinal muscle spasm.
The GP said “muscle spasm” but gave me no further info or advice on how to stop the pain.
Looking at the wording, is there something wrong with the shape of my neck/spine? I suffer with daily headaches too, I’m wondering if that’s connected too.
I asked if it could be cardiology related as the physio seemed concerned previously. The GP said no, because I had a 24hour tape in January which would have flagged up any heart problems apparently. I had the tape done as I was having a high heart rate after surgery for a few months.
The physio didn’t help it just brought on the pain more, but the physio was before I had the x ray. So maybe now I’ve got the results I can go back and do some exercises fitted to this specific issue. Has anyone had this pain before, I’m 31 years old for reference. Thanks
