I got letter saying pls attend hospital twice for this above.
has any mums here had done this .
i just wonder :1:
Is that thing to swallow very big ? Any risk of stuck in body and need surgery to get out ( alike those mini camera capsules accident ?)
2:
any radiation risk to children back at home . As it’s inside me for 7 days ?

My daughter had this. She had to swallow something. Then had a scan the following week to see if any was left inside. It can't have been difficult to swallow (I was with her) as she's not good at swallowing tablets.

Can't remember if she was radioactive - no ill effects whatsoever. She didn't notice any difference.

Sorry I'm being vague, but what I'm trying to say is, it wasn't unpleasant procedure.

She was diagnosed with BAM as a result.
