Scarlet fever or paranoid?

I'm not sure if I have scarlet fever or if I'm paranoid about having scarlet fever.

I have a 3 year old DS who has absolutely no scarlet fever symptoms. Obviously keeping a close eye on him as it's going about and he would need antibiotics if he got it. He's at nursery 3 days a week.

I am due to go Christmas shopping today but obviously if I have a very contagious illness I would not want to be spreading it around. I feel like I have a rash on my back but DH has checked and there's nothing to see. I have a very slight sore throat and a runny nose (logic says this is more likely to be a cold). I did think I had a rash on my tongue but I have just remembered that I burned my tongue on a greggs festive bake yesterday and this is a more likely cause.

Basically am I likely to be putting others at risk if I go shopping as planned?

Surely if you had (or were getting) SF you’d feel ill!?
I think you’re just anxious. Wear a mask maybe if you are worried?
