turn your bathroom into a steam room. Close door, put shower on (quite hot - make sure baby is nowhere near the water) and sit with her for as long as you can breathing in the steam.

Damp washclothes on radiator at night to create moisture in the room.

Mix a small amount of Vicks vapo-rub with alot of vaseline and rub onto chest and back, and if nose is stuffy, a tiny amount under the nose.

These things always helped ds...

Man every time I hit post it double posts today, I wonder if there is something sticky in my keyboard mouse?

Steam can be good. Run a hot shower or bath and just bring her into the bathroom for a while.

When DD was ill at about 10 months I got hold of a baby Tixylix which is basically just glycerin but seems to soothe them a little (and makes you feel that you are doing something!)

Hope she is feeling better soon, it's horrid when they are ill and so little

Second the steamy room thing. Worked quite well with our ds.... helps loosen everything up...

Oops, managed to cross post (once!) in the time it took Rantmum to post twice
