Has anyone here got Narcolepsy or thought they might have it?

I have always been able to fall asleep very quickly but in the last 6 months, this has got a lot worse.

3 times in the last month I have fallen asleep in meetings, as in completely fast asleep. One of those times, I was actually mid sentence. This has happened to me before but not for a very long time.

When I was younger, I lived with my husband (we're now divorced) and i blamed his snoring for keeping me awake and me being so tired. We got divorced in 2012. I now live with a new partner, who sometimes snores, but I have an apple watch and I can tell I am almost constantly getting 7+ hours of sleep a night.

I go to bed at the same time and wake up at the same time and I never feel that exhausted in the morning. I have upped my exercise which always helps but I still have the feeling that I could fall asleep at any moment.

Has this happened to anyone? I am going through the menopause at the moment (age 49) which I've noticed can either cause or exacerbate the condition!

@SleepIsMyName I know you wrote this a while ago but it just popped up in similar threads when I started one about having narcolepsy! I don't feel like I haven't slept well when I wake up but will still feel tired a few hours later. Anything like a cold can affect it so I imagine menopause would also increase symptoms
