Is this oral thrush in DS's mouth or something else?

DS ( 11 months, 9 months corrected ) seemed in pain with his mouth this morning after a very wakeful night. Initially I saw what I thought was an ulcer on the tip of his tongue but have since seen this underneath too.

Is this thrush or something else? Will take a trip to the pharmacy tomorrow and try to get a GP apt Monday but unlikely they'll see him as it isn't what they define as 'urgent'

Ouch! That looks so sore!
I'd probably phone 111 and pharmacist don't usually prescribe to under 2's.

As far as I'm aware they don't prescribe to under 2's could be wrong though.

Poor baby. Looks a bit like some sort of ulcer/ burn?

@Coffeeandcrocs can you remember what this turned out to be?

No idea but it went away by itself after about 3 days! GP didn't think it was thrush and neither did the pharmacist

Ah ok, thank you! My little one has something that started off looking almost identical to that on Monday - we’re treating it as if it’s thrush just in case! Hope ours clears up as quick!
