Can Men take the canneston combi treatment for thrush

Keep getting reaccurring thrush and am pretty certain I have passed it onto DH. His symptoms have gone now but I still think it's worth him being treated as I think he may have passed it back to me last time we had sex.

Am pregnant and uncomfortable and will scream if I get it again.

DH is being a baby and won't go to DR's but I'm sure I've read that men can take the canneston treatment (not the pessary unfortunately )

I'll be 37 weeks next week and plan to use DH nightly to encourage a natural labour to avoid another hideous inducement and large over due baby so I need him in tip top condition.

Not sure but I would give him 2 options:

  1. He goes to the docs and gets it treated with the appropritae medication.

or

  1. You offer to insert the pessary where its needed

DH has used the cream before

Dp takes difflucan occasionally or the 'once' stuff. BUT he should go to the docs.

DH has used the cream and am pretty certain men can take the combi too. If he grows breasts it may not be a good idea to use it again

I would prefer him to go to the DR's but I know he won't especially now that he's not in discomfort.

I'll perhaps go speak to chemist.

Feck I'm never going to get him to have a vasectomy am I?

Best thing would be for him to buy a diflucan tablet from the chemist - will ensure that all areas are reached, where the cream might not get!

ConnorTraceptive · 31/01/2008 10:06

Right I'm going to chemist. Will ask about different options.

Useless feckin men!

If it wasn't for the fact that I want to use him for my own advantage I would just let it rot and fall off.
