Lump in mouth won’t go away

So I have this lump in my mouth. It’s nestled above my gum in my right cheek. I though it was an ulcer. Started off small. Then I kept picking it off hoping it wild go away. It just won’t go. Can feel flat sometimes but sometimes really pointy and sticking out. It does t hurt like an ulcer, it’s been about 2 months now….
shall I give it longer? See a dentist or go?

have a pic….but the pic makes it look flatter than it is

Do you grind your teeth at all at night ? You will not really know , but a partner will. Back teeth worn down and you have trouble opening your mouth in the morning and jaw feels really aching. Have trouble opening and brushing your teeth in the morning? I bite the insides of my mouth, all due to stress. I am not suggesting you suffer from that. Please pop to the dentist or local dental hospital, latter where much better.

There are quite a good few oral rinses about, not sure if I can advertise or suggest them. But, rinsing with salt water, cannot be breaching things, surely. Good luck, ouchy mouth is rather painful.

Probably just a polyp - might be your parotid duct. It’s hard to see exactly where it is in the mouth from your photo. If it’s level with your top teeth it’s the parotid duct if it’s lower it’s a polyp

Do you wear a night guard or do your teeth irritate the area? Irritation can pretty quickly cause raised bumps inside the mouth.

you need to see a dentist.
do not ignore anything unusual that lasts more than 3 weeks.

Go and see your doctor and say you want a referral to a Head and Neck specialist, my dentist missed my problem, my doctor didn't.

it is lower than the top of my teeth so don’t think I’m catching it at night.

I have a 2ww appointment with maxillofacial today for a lump at the base of my gum referred by my dentist. She said she doubts anything bad but they don't take chances.Still worried though. I grind my teeth so hoping that's the cause. Get it checked.

Just had my appointment so have updated my thread separately. They don't think it's anything serious but sending for non urgent ultrasound in 2-3 months!
